The Utah Beer Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2019. It will feature more than 60 breweries pouring 200+ beers over two days. The event takes place Aug. 17-18 at the Utah State Fairpark.
Salt Lake City Weekly organizes the annual event. We visited with City Weekly’s Samantha Smith and Pete Saltas to learn more about the festival’s history and what attendees can expect this year.
Red Rock Brewing hosted this episode of the podcast. The brewery, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2019, has participated in the Utah Beer Festival each of the last 10 years. Shantel Stoff, the sales and distribution director for Red Rock, talked a little about the festival’s history and the important role it plays in the community.
Side Note: We spoke with Shantel about some Red Rock-specific items — including new beers in the works. Look for that conversation in our next podcast episode.
For now, thank you to Samantha, Pete, and Shantel for talking about the 2019 Utah Beer Festival. And thank you for listening. I hope you enjoy the episode.
